The Now Screen appears every time you turn your device on if that option is set.
Now Screen gives you quick and enjoyable way to check the status. You can see your most important information with a quick glance. Even more importantly, you get the quickest and most direct way to respond as needed. For example, you can open your Inbox to read new emails with just a tap or with a couple of hardware key clicks.

You can configure the Now Screen to use analog or digital clocks. Also you can choose to display current and upcoming appointments. You don’t need to care about the layout. The Now Screen will use an appropriate layout based on the elements you chose to display and screen orientation.

Spb Mobile Shell introduces the new concept of adaptive skins. Spb Mobile Shell will automatically change its skin when the main device color is changed. Color themes allow you to change a color of key user interface elements (including Today) without changing the Today theme.

Spb Menu adds a fast and convenient way to navigate through your device. It is designed for one hand navigation. Typical response time on qVGA devices is under 80ms. Clear design, Vista style icons and animation at the first level make it look really nice too.

Spb Menu contains not only programs, but also actions. For example, Organizer->Notes submenu gives a quick and simple way to create a new text note.

Spb Menu gives you convenient access to all existing device features. For example, you can not only launch your camera application, but can also preset the shooting mode (Video, Sport, Photo, MMS Video, Contact Picture etc.). Without such a menu you would need to launch your camera application first and then use camera UI (which is pretty slow and not that intuitive) in order to set the desired mode.
